White Label Space, Google Lunar X-PRIZE official entry team in Japan, held Yuri’s Night for the patrons of the project.

18 people came at the restaurant l’Alveole in Paris, France, to celebrate Armstrong, watching Melies’ movie “Le Voyage dans la Lune”, Chris Hadfield’s message for Yuri’s Night and the BBC documentary “Neil Armstrong, the first man on the Moon”. Discussion followed and the whole event lasted more than 4 hours.

(April 11) Celebrating the one-and-only Yuri’s Night event in British Columbia, Canada, are STARFLEET Alberni Deep Space Port members Kevin Bakken (Klingon bat’leth), Gillian Shearwater (Yuri’s Night logo)  and Garry Cameron (STARFLEET logo).  Members gathered to listen to Russian music (Soviet era to modern Russian pop), watched a Star Trek video featuring Pavel Chekhov, and finished the evening with “spot the space station” — ISS passed over Port Alberni in a beautifully clear arc just after sunset, 6 minute viewing window.  ISS crew rocks!
